Best way to check for drafts, gaps or worn seals is by standing in your garage during the day and looking for any sunlight coming through the sides, bottom or top of the door. Also make sure to inspect the rubber seal around the door for broken, missing or cracked pieces. If you see light or worn seals, its best to replace the weatherstripping to prevent rodents, cold air and moisture from coming in.
By replacing the weatherstripping/stop mold it will help protect everything in your garage as well as prevent your heating system from overworking during the colder months especially if your garage is attached to your home.
