Knowing that the virus precautions are keeping many of you working from home, here are a few ideas to make the best use of your time. Let’s start with opening up your garage doors, getting some fresh air, sunshine and Vitamin D! This is a great time to do a visual inspection of your garage door parts. Check for rust on your springs and tracks. Look closely at your springs to see if they may be stretching or otherwise showing signs of wear. Apply lubricant to tracks if needed. Check your weather seal strip and wash it with warm, soapy water – then rinse and wipe dry. If you see anything that doesn’t look right or you have questions, we are only a phone call away.
Finally, how often do we wish we had more time for projects such as the garage? This is an ideal time for early Spring cleaning, organizing and de-cluttering, to make the best use of that space in the warmer months ahead. Also, filling up some donation boxes always feels good! Let someone else enjoy what you’re no longer using that is taking up space.
